Quick and Easy Parmesan Herb Cream Biscuits can be made in under an hour! They’re deliciously addicting. Soft and warm with flavors of parmesan, herb and cream much like fresh churned butter.

There is no possible way you can tell me there’s a quicker and easier biscuit recipe out there. There’s no way! These are by far the simplest biscuits to ever exist. I almost put money on this one. I could be talking a lot of smack here… Just overly excited and that says a lot coming from someone who isn’t into bread.
Made months ago, I can’t stop thinking about them. Maybe it’s my desire for more savory eats over sweets, or the excitement knowing that I can have this bread in less than an hour. Sidebar – this is a new record. I believe the next shortest time for bread baking from start to finish is this soda bread. Whichever reason or maybe for both, I can’t get this one off of my mind.

I remember the day, having a casual talk with at the time, a fairly new coworker about you know who and you know what when the question came, “so what did you do over the weekend?” to which I replied, “OH MY GOD! I made the most amazing biscuits ever!” The amount of enthusiasm and excitement over bread baking must have bewildered this person. Little did they know (at the time) that I love to bake. It all made sense later, thankfully!
But I raved on and on about how it had cheese and herbs, and the flavor tasted creamy like fresh churned butter. I spoke so highly of these biscuits that this person couldn’t believe that a bread could taste this good. The best comparison I can give are the infamous Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits. If you enjoy those then, you know what I’m talking about!

With a handful of ingredients, you can whip these up in a flash! You don’t need to have the exact three herbs I chose. If you have one or two kinds of herbs at home, use that. And if you want to start without any herbs, go for it! Like most of my recipes, I like the use of herbs to give extra depth of flavor. However, the parmesan cheese with the cream can easily suffice for making fantastic biscuits! See below for a step-by-step tutorial on how to make parmesan herb cream biscuits.

Description
Quick and Easy Parmesan Herb Cream Biscuits can be made in under an hour! They’re deliciously addicting. Soft and warm with flavors of parmesan, herb and cream much like fresh churned butter.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (240 grams) all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons (20 grams) shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons (8 grams) baking powder
- 2 teaspoons (10 grams) granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, stems removed
- 2 teaspoons fresh sage, minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, stems removed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups (360 grams) heavy cream
Instructions
- Heat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat; set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cheese, baking powder, sugar, herbs and salt. Stir in heavy cream until a wet shaggy dough forms; about 1 minute.
- On a lightly floured surface, knead dough for about 1 minute until a smooth uniform ball forms. Using a rolling pin or your hands, shape dough about 3/4 inch thick into a flattened rectangle. You may have rounded corners.
- Using a 2 1/2 inch (6 cm) biscuit or cookie cutter, cut dough into 10 parts. Place each piece onto the lined baking sheet about 1 to 1 1/2 inches (2.5 to 4 cm) apart.
- Bake for 15 minutes, rotating sheet about halfway through baking. Biscuits are ready once the tops turn golden brown. Carefully remove biscuits from the oven. Serve warm with salted butter.
