White Chocolate Butterscotch Blondies

Move over brownies. We’re going blonde with these easy 5-step, buttery-rich white chocolate butterscotch blondies!


Units Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs + 2 large egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or glass baking dish; set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla, until just combined and no large sugar lumps are present.
  4. Add flour mixture, butterscotch chips, and white chocolate chips into the liquid mixture; mix well.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and smooth to distribute evenly. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. ENJOY!
