A little truffle oil, glaze and fancy greens is enough to upscale your next pizza! Truffle and Mushroom White Pizza with Arugula is a three-cheese pizza, made in 30 minutes and is sure to impress.

The best part of making homemade pizza is that you can make it however you like! Spice it up, dress it up, crack an an egg on it, or add on more cheese and meat. The choice is yours. Plus, pizza making can be quite easy. For less hassle and faster results, store bought pizza dough can help save time. Then again, I do have a fairly quick scratch version of pizza dough seen here.

Truffle and mushroom white pizza is as cheesy if not, MORE CHEESY than your traditional pizza. Being that it lacks any kind of sauce, this pizza compensates with over one pound of cheese!
Much like any recipe, to provide good depth of flavor, a variety of a particular ingredient is best to use. In this case, we use three cheeses: mozzarella, burrata and parmesan; hence the name, white pizza. When eaten hot, the mozzarella is soft and melty. The burrata which has a mild taste, oozes across the pizza while the shaved parmesan heightens the flavor.
How to Make Truffle and Mushroom White Pizza

The arugula is tossed with lemon zest and its juice to cut back on its pepper and bitter notes while adding plenty of freshness to the savory pizza. To meld all of the flavors together, a semi-sweetened truffle and balsamic glaze is used. Drizzle over the top, this glaze pairs perfectly with mild cheeses and the acidity of the lemon-arugula giving a nice punch of flavor with every bite!

From around the world, “pizza” in its countless forms including toppings, may look a little different from one to the next. But one thing for certain, it’s enjoyed by many. So whether you’re having a pie on game day, or a weekday family meal, and best yet… on those drunken late nights, pizza is ALWAYS the answer. You just can’t go wrong.

- 1 cup (15 grams) baby arugula
- 1 tablespoon (16 grams) fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon (3 grams) lemon zest
- 1 homemade pizza crust dough or store-bought pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons (30 grams) white or black truffle oil; divided
