A simple 5 ingredient, 5 minute snack using Silk’s® Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative making this, one of the best Vegan** Parfaits out there!
So you have heard of Silk®, right? You’ve most likely heard about it in commercials and have seen it on shelves at your local grocery store. Well today, I’m introducing you to a new product from Silk, it’s their Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative!
You may ask, “Well, how can it be dairy free?”
Simple. Instead of using dairy, Silk uses cultured soy providing 6 grams of soy protein per serving, thus making this product, cholesterol free! Made with real fruit and no artificial flavors or colors, this yogurt alternative will leave you amazed just as it did to me at how smooth, creamy and simply delicious it is!
This recipe uses pineapple but if you’re not a fan of this flavor, no problem. There are other flavors you can choose from to enjoy such as:
- black cherry
- peach & mango
Personally, I fell in love with the black cherry. So much so, it was gone within 2 minutes! I definitely need to make my way to the market to get more.
If there is one lifestyle change I wish I could make by the snap of my fingers, it would be to become vegan. I know there are others in a similar situation as myself who may have had this goal on their mind for quite some time yet making the switch 100 % can feel a bit overwhelming. To lessen this dismay, I try to decrease my intake of animal products a little at a time on a daily basis and so with a Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative, this helps me reach my goal one step closer!

So whether you’re looking to incorporate a healthy alternative into your daily routine or looking to try new flavors, any time a recipe calls for yogurt, swap it for Silk® in your breakfasts, lunches or dinners. You can even swap non-yogurt ingredients such as maple syrup used on pancakes with a dollop or two of any flavor. I’ve done this and topped it with berries and it is SO good! Other ideas include: dressings, dippings/sauces, smoothies, as well as in yogurt fondues and mousse!

- 1 container Silk® Tropical Pineapple Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative
- 1 cup tropical coconut and mango granola*
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup fresh mango, chopped
- 1/3 cup sweetened or unsweetened coconut
- In two 4 oz glasses or smaller, divide 3 to 4 tablespoons of Silk® Tropical Pineapple Dairy Free Yogurt Alternative into the bottom of each glass.
- Sprinkle tropical coconut and mango granola and top with fresh pineapple and mango.
- Repeat layers of the dairy free yogurt, granola, and fruit to create a parfait. Sprinkle coconut and serve chilled. ENJOY!
